Description

Caper berries have a complex flavor that spans from lemony to briny, just like their tiny relations.
As a result, they can readily be used in place of olives, either as an ingredient or simply as a quick nosh alongside antipasto. Caper berries are most often found brined in jars or tins, so at the very least a quick rinse is recommended before you serve them. They can be roasted, or even pan-fried until their skin crisps up – leave the stems on for easy eating as finger food.
